The course, led by Simon Wells of Highland First Aid, was an informative hands-on session covering some of the common first aid that may need to be given to those in our area, including:

• How to get help on a beach or in a remote mountain site
• CPR
• Drowning
• Cold
• Support for fits

Simon gave the attendees lots of hands-on practice and shared his first-hand experiences as a guide in canyons, leads canoe and kayak groups.
